requiring multiple steps to return to the correct pay period. We have worked with the
developer to identify a fix and are currently performing testing before implementing the fix.
CRU/A-SISO
On Oct. 4, the Agency and NATCA reached a settlement agreement requiring premium pay for
OJTI on any positions that require the employee to be medically qualified. We began working
with the Agency to set up a process for processing and validating changes. Facility
representatives were contacted through listservs with information on the settlement, the need
to verify OJTI premium pay for impacted positions and the process for updating the CRU
database to ensure pay is calculated correctly. We continue to work with the Agency to process
changes and encourage all facility representatives to work collaboratively with facility
management to review the medical requirement for positions.
I participated on a conference call regarding a proposal to remove the NOP (National Offload
Program) servers from facilities by Nov. 1, 2019. The NOP servers are the core equipment for
the A-SISO program and are the sole source of the sign in/out data required to function.
Currently, there is no movement on the proposal, but we will continue to work with the agency
to ensure that any changes are thoroughly vetted and result in a minimal interruption to the A-
SISO service.
ATOMS
The Agency has signed a contract with a new developer, Karsun, to take over the development
of ATOMS. We met in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 2, to receive a briefing on their progress,
bringing the new developer up to speed on the massive scope of the program. We look forward
to working collaboratively with the Agency soon to identify any gaps between the requirements
and the current state of the program and also to discuss any potential enhancements that may
be needed. This is a much-needed replacement for CRU and the WMT Scheduler and will be
beneficial to both parties once it is completed.
