These are areas where many organizations struggle, but we believe that the best way to make improvements is by hearing your examples of positive influences and demonstrated behaviors that made you feel supported and encouraged in your work, and that you would like to see embraced and repeated. As the ATO's leadership team considers your responses and ways to improve, we would also be interested in any ideas you have about actions and behaviors that you have not actually experienced in the past, but you believe would help us make positive changes. The ATO Employee Engagement Captains will read every submission and use your input to help us develop an action plan to address the concerns raised by the 7,500+ ATO employees who filled out the FedView survey. We invite ATO employees to share their input through IdeaHub during the challenge through Jan. 11. As Tina Fey would say, we would welcome help in understanding how to be the kind of leaders who know "how to get the eggs!" Also, I hope you'll consider giving to worthy charities through the Combined Federal Campaign. Thanks to everyone who has already contributed. The ATO has reached 15 percent of its goal so far. We have rescheduled our spirit event at headquarters for 2 p.m. Dec. 11 because it was originally planned on Wednesday, the National Day of Mourning to remember the contributions and public service of President George H.W. Bush. Thanks, everyone! Teri L. Bristol ATO Chief Operating Officer
