the past few months has mostly been recovery, to re-prioritize projects and establish new project deadlines. EoR – A human factors study is nearing completion and the NextGen team was presented with the study's findings and contract deliverables. The consensus was that in order for an air traffic facility to be successful with EoR operations, a paradigm shift in a facility's operation is needed in addition to full program support from the start to finish of its implementation. Alaska – The PBN co-leads participated in a discussion panel hosted by the Alaska Air Carriers Association. Several topics were covered, including RNAV (PBN) instrument flight procedures, the upcoming T-Route project for Alaska, and the need for optimizing Designated Mountainous Terrain. Due to the number of NAS extremes that exist in the state of Alaska, the aviation community has shown a lot of support for capitalizing on the opportunities that NextGen and PBN can provide. CSA PBN submitted by Brent Luna, CSA PBN NATCA Article 114 Rep All of the Central Service Area (CSA) PBN projects have been impacted by the shutdown and we have not been given the go-ahead to be fully back in facilities and asking for facility participation. There has been little to no direction from the PBN Program Office in terms of what we should expect but we are working on other project components that don't impact ATC operations or require large time requests for controllers to be out of the operation. We do hope that we can get back to a full schedule with all of our facilities soon. Columbus, Ohio – There are a handful of small details that need to be worked out with the full working group and a telcon is scheduled for April 2. We will then review all of the project details with the Airport Authority and decide on the most appropriate next steps toward implementation. San Antonio – There are a few minor criteria concerns that will be worked out via telcon soon. We are currently prepping materials for our CI planning activities with the city's aviation department. Louisville, Ky. – We are waiting for clearance to schedule a full workgroup meeting to review previous plans, determine current needs, and decide on appropriate project size and scope. Dallas – We have a telcon scheduled for the week of April 8 to discuss departure issues at Dallas Love Field. Aircraft departing RWYs 13L/R need to be restricted to keep them out of the DFW departure stream. El Paso, Texas – Two RNPs are being developed to address safety issues identified by SWA when approaching RWY 08R. We are currently working on what environmental might include and what CI should be considered. Chicago O'Hare – The KORD draft STAR procedures are complete and ready for modeling evaluations by the city of Chicago. Chicago Center – We have mature T-Route packages completed to mitigate a number of navaids being lost because of VORMON as well as route structure mitigations to support AirVenture (OshKosh). We are working with environmental on both of these projects to ensure the proper steps are completed and ZAU gets what they need in a timely manner. T-Routes are required prior to ZAU publishing the NOTAMs for the July 2020 AirVenture.
