CMRIS with eLMS is part of a larger modernization effort to manage training needs more efficiently. The Agency has requested that NATCA provide bargaining unit representatives from its affected bargaining units (all in Region X) to participate on the team that is working on this transition. NATCA is working to identify these representatives. POCs: Region X Regional Vice President Curt Howe, Region X Alternate Regional Vice President Mike MacDonald, National Training Lead Tom Adcock, and Labor Relations Attorney Grant Mulkey. WINDOWS FILE SERVER MIGRATIONS On April 5, 2019, the Agency briefed NATCA regarding a server migration/upgrade at the Command Center (DCC), which occurred April 6-8, 2019. During the briefing, the Agency explained that these types of migrations are needed because the existing server hardware has reached the end of its hardware lifecycle. Additionally, these servers use the Windows 2008 operating system, which reaches end-of-life in January 2020. These server migrations occur on weekends, and existing data is available in a read-only format during the migrations. At the conclusion of the briefing, the Agency agreed to collaborate with NATCA regarding the scheduling for any additional server migrations and the notice that will be given to BUEs. POCs: Eastern Regional Vice President Rich Santa, National Representative Jason Doss, and Labor Relations Attorney Grant Mulkey.
