H.R. 1108
On the Senate side, Sen. Moran, R-KS, introduced identical legislation (S. 762, the Aviation Funding Stability Act
of 2019). We thank Senator Moran for his leadership in introducing this important legislation. NATCA is focusing
on raising support for H.R. 1108 to continue moving this bill through the legislative process in the House. As this
legislation moves forward, NATCA will switch gears to the Senate side to garner support for S. 762.
MESSAGE
The enactment of H.R. 1108 would provide a stable, predictable funding stream for the FAA by preventing the FAA from
shutting down during a lapse in appropriations. NATCA thanks the 153 Members of Congress who have co-sponsored
H.R. 1108 and encourage all other Members of Congress to support this critical legislation.
