Ms. Brazelton also traveled to Washington for a TFDM Training Workgroup and Human Factors meeting during this reporting period. With Final Course Conduct on the first build coming to a close, focus is shifting towards the timeline for development of a delta package. These materials will ensure the training delivered in the field aligns with the latest software build at deployment. In parallel with these efforts, early work is continuing on the Advanced TMC course. The training team is using knowledge gained from an Early User Involvement Event (EUIE) in Gaithersburg, Md., last month to give feedback on the initial course task lists and outlines. There is a course design guide review scheduled at WJHTC for November. TIME BASED FLOW MANAGEMENT/TERMINAL SEQUENCING AND SPACING (TBFM/TSAS) Matt Gammon (ZID) is the Article 114 Rep for TBFM/TSAS. His report is below: During the week of Oct. 7, TBFM Ops team members traveled to Atlantic City, N.J., to review the next release of TBFM at Leidos's English Creek facility. The activity was broken up into two separate evaluations. One was set up for TBFM sustainment work, and the next was set up to evaluate the TSAS portion of the release. TBFM releases now have TSAS content in them and as such both the sustainment and TSAS fixes and enhancements have to be evaluated. There are a number of changes and enhancements in the 4.10 build that not only have to be checked but also that any regression issues are identified and worked on. Overall, the first look at the 4.10 release sustainment portion went somewhat well, but there are concerns with the number of regression issues. Regression issues are when problems are found in the system that are introduced in the new release. Sometimes these are related to changes that are requested and sometimes are not related to changes to the system at all. There were some tickets identified to be corrected and there will be a second look at the release follow-up on these issues and the release that was not evaluated. Members of the Ops team were at the iTBO summit in Washington on Oct. 7. This was the second meeting to go over the TBO initiatives and the work being done towards these. These include Northeast Corridor initiatives and the Denver Operating area work that includes TSAS. Myself and my co-lead briefed on the Northeast Corridor teamwork that has been taking place, including the demos at the Tech Center. As mentioned on previous reports, Blake Locke (ATL) and the Northeast Corridor group have not only put together a well thought out TBFM system to improve arrival metering to PHL but have been able work with others at the Tech Center to overcome a series of technical challenges to demonstrate and evaluate it. This same week, a few team members working on the NEC project travelled from the iTBO summit to ZJX to follow-up on the PHL arrival system work. This was the first in a series of visits to the facilities that will be involved in supporting this NEC initiative. The
