TBFM Ops team members travelled to Washington to work on Enhancement 2
requirements. Enhancement 2 (formerly known as work package 2) will be the next
major phase of TBFM technologies in the future. This will include not only continuing
IDAC and other current TBFM work at new sites, but also future capabilities like the
TBFM planning tool and Pathstretch.
This was the first week of ZTL IDAC to include GSO and AGS. TBFM Ops team
members not only travelled to ZTL, but also to GSO and AGS to conduct the training
necessary for eventual implementation of IDAC. The training at the facilities went well
and will be followed up with training at ATL ATCT, and implementation when the
facilities are prepared to do so. The Ops team will assist in developing test documents,
LOAs, etc. as the facilities need to work towards full implementation of IDAC.
