addresses fall protection as it is listed in JO 3900.19C. The conversation is happening within the 3900.19C workgroup. On Dec. 4, Ms. Marinas and NATCA's Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Geoff Bacci, hosted a webinar for the membership, entitled, "Top 5 Environmental Issues in Our Buildings." We had 43 people sign up and 20 people in attendance! Ms. Marinas sent out a feedback form after the webinar and the responses were positive. Members said they felt they learned a lot and wanted to see more webinars. Mr. Bacci and Ms. Marinas have begun to work on next year's webinars. We will be revisiting a past topic in January with water testing, followed by water intrusion in March, and temperature and humidity in the summer. On Dec. 10, 2019, Ms. Marinas facilitated the first of many future telcons for Regional OSHECCOM Chairs and Vice Chairs as an update from the National OSHECCOM. The telcon was based on a motion that carried in the National OSHECCOM for the National Chair and Vice Chair to facilitate such briefings after every National OSHECCOM meeting. The OSHECCOM chair was unable to do the telcon at the last minute, due to another work obligation, so Ms. Marinas and the OSHECCOM Coordinator led the telcon. The next OSHA and OWCP training class has been approved for Oct. 14-15, 2020. On Dec. 11, 2019, we held our monthly committee meeting via telcon. We continue to work our way through some process changes to stay efficient and engaged and ready to meet the needs of the membership. We are also working through tracking our issues and creating response templates to help ensure we have a smooth and effective way to respond to occupational safety and health issues that come up, throughout our regions. The group is actively engaging Geoff Bacci on many issues throughout the regions and finding his help immeasurably useful. Regional OSHA Representative Updates NSO - OSHA Rep Mark Sellek reports the following: • LEX Asbestos - Lexington contacted me about an asbestos abatement project that was to take place. The FacRep was able to place the project on hold after contacting me. We discussed proper protocols for the abatement, contractual requirements, and air monitoring. This project has been completed and clearance sampling was approved by Geoff Bacci. • TRI Water Main – TRI's FacRep contacted me about a water main break at their facility that occurred shortly before Thanksgiving. The main has been repaired and water testing has been completed. One distribution point returned over the action limit for copper, and it is suspected it is the faucet itself. I advised the
