L3Harris has proudly partnered with the FAA for over three decades, pioneering critical infrastructure solutions
for U.S. air traffic control.
Starting in 1989 with the modernized Flight Plan Filing Interface (NADIN II) followed by the En-Route Voice
Control System (VSCS) in 1991. In 2002, we deployed the Internet-Protocol Private Network for Air Traffic
Control (FTI) that we continue to operate today, followed by the world's first integrated ADS-B system in 2007.
By 2012, we initiated System Wide Information Management (SWIM) leveraging the FTI backbone and the
integrated Controller Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC) network service which entered service in 2016.
We provided the Common Support Services-Weather (CSS-Wx) in 2014 and the SWIFT Portal in 2017.
Our partnership continues to pave the way for future innovations in aviation infrastructure providing you, the air
traffic controllers, with the tools you use to get flights home safely every day.
