20 NATIONAL AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS ASSOCIATION Spo tl ight NATCA's Role in the Potomac Midair Collision Investigation continued Additionally, other NATCA representatives, members, and staff have dedicated themselves to helping in the aftermath of this tragedy: NATCA's National Executive Board, Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), the National and Regional Safety Representatives, and the NATCA Labor Relations Department to name a few. NATCA's involvement in this investigation will ensure the expertise and perspective of air traffic controllers are a part of the entire investigation, from initial response to final recommendations. The lessons learned will not only address the specifics of this tragedy but will also contribute to broader safety improvements in the NAS.
