the backs of federal employees means pay and benefit cuts. No maer what the issue –

For over five years, federal employees have
unfairly shouldered the burden of lowering
the national deficit.
The Simpson-Bowles Commission recommendations
include increased employee retirement contributions,
alterations to health benefits, chained CPI, and a 10
percent workforce reduction through arition.
The current budget resolution leaves the door
open to further aempts to balance the federal
budget by making cuts to federal employee pay
and benefits.
