ADDITIONAL IDENTIFY PROTECTION FOR OPM SECURITY BREACH In addition to the above described identify protection offered by the FAA via Identify Force, the Office of Personal Manage ment (OPM ) is also offering identity theft protection concerning the recent security breach of its files. The OPM is offering this coverage through CSID, a third party vendor, at no cost to the employee. If you would like to check to see if your personal i nformation may have been breached as part of the OPM security breach, please call the CSID Hotline at: 1 - 844 - 777 - 2743 – Option 4. If your information was breached, the representative at CSID will provide you with a PIN # for the CSID Protection Services. T he fact that you may not have received an email or letter from the OPM stating that your personal information was breached does not necessa rily mean it was not breached. As such, it is recommended that you contact CSID. Please be aware that you may sign - up for identify theft protection with both Identify Force and CSID. You are not excluded from coverage with one if you have al ready enrolled with the other. In fact, it is recommended that you enroll in both in order to maximize your coverage. NATCA POCs: Na tional Article 48 Surveillance Representative Joe Yannone and Director of Labor Relations Ryan Smith. NATCA PREVAILS IN APPEAL OF DOD SCHOOLS PRE - KINDERGARTEN ARBITRATION VICTORY On September 8, 2015, the Federal Labor Relations Authority affirmed Arbitr ator Douglas Hammond's favorable arbitration decision in the DoD Schools pre - kindergarten (pre - K) case. In April, Arbitrator Hammond sustained NATCA's grievance challenging the FAA's arbitrary exclusion of pre - K education from the tuition reimbursements th at the Agency makes to the DoD Schools on behalf of NATCA bargaining unit employees' (BUE) school - age depende nts in Puerto Rico and Guam. The Arbitrator ordered the Agency to reimburse the DoD for pre - kindergarten tuition going forward and to make whole ne gatively impacted BUEs from July 13, 2013, to present. Now, we must work with the Agency to ensure implementation of the remedy in this matter. If you are a BUE stationed in either Guam or Puerto Rico with a child who turned four (4) years of age by Sept ember 1, 2015, and you are still interested in enrolling your child in pre - K classes at the DoD Schools, you should attempt to enroll your child for the 2015 - 16 school year as soon as possible.
