AJV - 7 AJV - 8 Data Comm IDS - R NextGen NVS PMO PBN SBS TOCO TAMR TFDM TBFM UAS Wake Turbulence LABOR RELATIONS DEPARTMENT NATCA FILES NATIONAL GRIEVANCE OVER CHD On June 16, 2015, NATCA was certified as the exclusive bargaining representative for all bargaining unit employees employed at the Chandler, AZ, Air Traffic Control Tower (CHD). CHD is part of the Federal Contract Tower program and is currently administrat ed by Serco, Inc. On June 22, 2015, NATCA submitted a letter to Serco requesting that the terms and conditions of the Parties' collective bargaining agreement be made applicable to the bargaining unit employees at CHD. Serco never responded to this reques t. On September 30, 2015, NATCA filed a National Grievance against Serco, over the company's failure to apply the NATCA collective bargaining agreement to the bargaining unit employees at CHD. NATCA POCs: Director of Labor Relations Ryan Smith, and Labor Relations Attorney Damien Maree NATCA MEETS WITH THE FAA AGAIN REGARDING ONGOING FAATP RENEGOTIATIONS On September 29, 2015, NATCA met again collaboratively with the FAA regarding the Agency's proposed revisions to its travel policy (the FAATP). Negotiat ions are ongoing. The FAA plans to reissue its Article 7 notice sometime after October 1st, incorporating many of NATCA's suggested changes into its new proposed draft of the FAATP. The parties will move to a formal bargaining posture at that point.
