o Off Shore Automation (MicroEARTS) o List of meeting locations for teams to travel to · Weather o Setup a meeting with Matt Tucker and Andy Maros vari to talk about where this program is RNAV and PERFORMANCE BASED NAVIGATION (PBN): Dennis Kelly (PHL) represents NATCA's Membership as the Article 48 Representative for the criteria work on RNAV and PBN. Mr. Kelly forwarded the information below for this week's report. · National Procedure Assessment (NPA) o Circling Approach Draft Criteria - A decision tree has been developed to determine if circling minimums are necessary and how to eliminate the ones that aren't throughout the 5500 ai rports in the NAS. After a list is developed, this will go through ATC and public comment through NRPM. o Counts and Maintenance Costs - Circling minimums take up about 30% of all lines of minimum. IFP Average Maintenance Cost Per Line of Minima: $1,9 08.39 based on issuing NOTAMs as needed, reviewing for proposed obstacles in OE - AAA , required amendment and periodic review. IFP Periodic Flight Inspection: $626.00 per procedure but this may not necessarily apply since a procedure would need to be chec ked for other reasons. o Discussion on Team's Next Steps on RNAV Procedures - There was discussion on keeping all the lines of minimums on the GPS procedures even though some are redundant and may be overlays of current procedures and every runway end d oesn't necessarily need an approach. Most seem to agree with this, as it would promote the PBN vision of getting rid of most of the ground based approaches and associated costs. ASRs will stay as they are used by DoD and many at ATC facilities they are i ntertwined with DoD. There are 221 in the system. · NSPP - Metroplex Procedures: DC – BWI and ADW add 4 up - number RNAV STARs as priority request for 12/10/2015 publication cycle. o SIDs/STARs/RNP: ROA adds 3 up - number RNAV SIDs with top altitu des for 12/10/2015 publication cycle.
