(ATOP) system is the only automated system in the United States capable of data link; therefore clearances can only be issued from New York Center (ZNY), Oakland Center (ZOA) or Anchorage Center (ZAN) where ATOP is operational. · VOR MON - The VOR MON program is finally funded and will start in 2016 and should end by 2025. o This is approximately a $100 million project. Only $56 million will be doled out in the first 5 years and it will have to be proven that VORs van be removed successfully to get the rest of the money. o The list is about 95% done and should be out in a few weeks. It is heavily weighted in the East and Central. There about 20 VORs slated in 2016 - 2017 time period and a tent ative total of a little over 300. There are 699 Victor airways in class E airspace FL 180 and below. o There is not very much usage shown even among the top 100. There are 301 jet routes in class A airspace and above FL180, 114 Q - routes and 112 T - rou tes. o The North American Route Program (NRP) and Non - Restrictive Routing (NRR) will probably be terminated. The Navigational Reference System (NRS) program will be retained in some form. There is a proposal of 1 National Route structure workgroup, 8 regional WGs of which 5 would be Q - route and 3 T - route WGs to work the restructuring of the PBN route system. · Attended meetings/telcons for PBN Dashboard, PBN usage on the ATIS, NSPP, NPA , JCPD, 1 day floor, 1 day Local Safety Council. · Provided presentations on RTCA NPA Circling minimum PPT, latest ILS Rationalization Plan and PBN Dashboard user confidence.
