· Tech Center Meetings: The TOCO hosted meetings at the Tech Center for the eastern contingency teams from ATRCCs September 22 - 24. o Each team has an ATM, a POFM and a NATCA Rep from each facility that participated: ZAU, ZOB, ZBW, ZID, ZME, ZTL, ZDC, ZMA, ZJX, ZHU, ZNY, and ZSU. · The TOCO has been reviewing surveys collected from the participants to gain lessons learned from this first round of meetings. · Results are showing that the facilities have less than satisfactory spec trum configuration for their needs. · Most participants were satisfied with the outcomes of the meetings and the divestiture agreements signed. · The TOCO will be getting more information out to the next participants clarifying expectation s and defining contingency vs. continuity. · The TOCO is planning the second meetings October 19 - 23. o This will have the contingency teams from ZSE, ZOA, ZAB, ZFW, ZLA, ZDV, ZMP and ZKC for their initial meetings, and they will be inviting ZAU, ZID, ZME, ZHU, and ZOB back to meet the west facilities. TERMINAL AUTOMATION MODERNIZATION REPLACEMENT (TAMR): Mitch Herrick (MIA) leads NATCA's team for TAMR. Below are reports from the team leads. · STARS/TAMR Phase 1 update submitted by Jimmie White - PHL o Monday 9/28: Start of week two of R4 risk mitigation. It is determined to do a test run of the new trackball at PCT. Items of concern were sharp edges and the amount of play in the trackball. o Tuesday 9/29: More issues with MD Ms at A90 TRACON. While working on position, controllers noticed items such as maps and range rings were dimming on the right half of the display. The controllers continued to work, but want answers to why these items are washing out. o Wednesday 9/3 0: MDM issues at A90 have heightened, program office wants to know what's going to be done about A90 issues with their MDMs. NATCAs Phase 1 rep gets TSLE involved with the
