front of the monitor, which we all agree, should not be the case. The shutter/filter effect is only a theory at this point. PASS was not present during this demo, and thus had no counter argument to the TLSE response. o Friday 10/3: Week two mitigation comes to an end, no new Discrepancy Reports (DRs) filed. No follow up demo on the MDM today. TSLE was not available. We will try to get more lab time on Monday 10/5 to come up with more answers/options for A90. Call to action meeting for MDM will be on Tuesd ay 10/6. · STARS/TAMR Phase 3 Segment 1 update submitted by Doug Peterson - D10 o Segment One activity this week included transition planning meetings with Atlanta (A80) and Potomac (PCT) TRACONs and post - con - ops meetings with SoCal (SCT) and Minn eapolis (M98). Post continuous operations at M98 has been smooth for the first 10 days with the exception of a target reflection problem in a north flow operation that was not resolved through standard adaptation strategies. A more aggressive radar tile se t adaptation change is being tested and the preliminary results are promising. The software delivery expected to actually solve many of the radar tracking problems observed at SCT was received from the vendor last week and is being built at the Tech Center. Informal testing is underway and OT&E is scheduled Oct 20 - 22. o NATCA met with STARS systems engineering and AJV - 7 in a follow on meeting to discuss a potential change to system start - up time requirement. The issue is complex and does evoke an immediate negative response, but the case is compelling. NATCA will collaborate o n a formal briefing package. o A TAMR - wide telcon was conducted this week with representatives from all segments and OSF to welcome the new transition SME to the team and provide an overview of the broad range of work NATCA is doing on the program. We p rovided snapshot images of what we do in all the different areas and encouraged them become even more involved in the success of the program. · STARS/TAMR Phase 3 Segment 2 update submitted by Scott Robillard - K90 o The TAMR3SEG2 team is comprised of the Scott Robillard (K90) Lead, Bill Spence (BTV) Training Lead, Jim VanZee (GRR), Richard Thomas (GEG), Tim Poer (ABI), Mike Wilson (CAK), Kyle Ness
