ABI was added to the STARS waterfall with an IOC of January 2018. § October 1, 2015, Joe Yannone and Frank Stahler (Region X) dialed into a telcon a CTD test configuration meeting. § October 1, 2015, Scott Robillard (K90), Mike Wilson (CAK) and Joe Yannone (Region X) dialed into the DLH ASR - 8/Mode S TDX install/support activation telcon. The DLH ASR8 has been identified as a poor performing radar. § October 1, 2015, Richard Thomas (GEG) dialed into the BIS ASR - 8/Mo de S Site Readiness Review Post Mode S SPV; pre - ASR - 8 SPV; pre - TDX Optimization telcon. TERMINAL FLIGHT DATA MANAGER (TFDM): Matt Baugh (IAH) is the NATCA Article 48 Representative to the TFDM Program. Embedded in this project are two other projects; A dvanced Electronic Flight Strips (AEFS) and the Electronic Flight Strip Transfer System (EFSTS). Mr. Baugh's information to the membership is below. · Monday - Traveled to New York for the Departure Spacing Program (DSP) Replacement Strategies m eeting · Tuesday - Participated in a briefing from MITRE and Bob Varcadipane from SYSOPS regarding the replacement of DSP in the New York and Philadelphia area, as well as a CLE AEFS update telcon. o CLE opened their new tower on Sunday, 9/27. T he cut - over went as planned, finally, and no major problems were reported with the new AEFS system. o They declared IOC at approximately 7:30 AM Sunday morning and have been running on the new build for 2+ days with no stability issues to report. o P HX is now resetting the thin clients nightly in response to their position freeze last week. We are in the process of getting some Second Level Support to them so the controllers are not responsible for the resets. o MITRE led a meeting to discuss the r eplacement strategies for DSP in the New York and Philly area. Representatives from JFK, LGA, EWR, PHL, N90, and ZNY were all present for the meeting. Ultimately, 3 scenarios were presented to the group as
