UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS (UAS): Steve Weidner (ZMP) represents the NATCA Membership as the DC Based Article 48 Representative for UAS. Mr. Weidner's report for the membership is below. · Participated in a meeting to discuss the rewrite of JO 7210.882. Representatives from AJV8 and AJT participated in the meeting · Participated in a telcon to discuss an LOA between Customs and Border Protection (CBP), San Ang elo ATCT (SJT), Midland Approach (MAF) and Fort Worth ARTCC (ZFW). CBP will be moving their UAS operations from NGP to SJT for the months of Jan - Mar 2016. · Met with Randy Willis (AJV115 Manager) for their weekly meeting · Participated in a telcon with Dan Wiliams (ATO UAS Integration Team Lead) for their weekly meeting · Attended a UAS data collection demo by Focused Support. · Met with Jackie Jackson (AJV115 Manager) to discuss a summarized COA do cument. · Met with Jeff Woods (NATCA PMO Article 48 Rep), Mel Davis (NATCA NextGen Rep) and Steve Hansen (NATCA Safety Rep) to discuss the Pathfinder 3 SMS panel. · Participated in the AFS80 Pathfinder Focus Area Status telcon. · Pa rticipated in a Pathfinder 2 status telcon · Met with Jeff Richards to discuss current UAS activities · Met with Marke "Hoot" Gibson, newly appointed FAA Senior Advisor on UAS Integration. · Met with Jim Ullmann (NATCA Deputy Director of Safety and Technology) to discuss current UAS activities. WAKE TURBULENCE: Scott Pressley (BHM) is the Article 48 Representative to the Wake Turbulence Office. Mr. Pressley's update for this week is below.
