COLLABORATIVE DECISION MAKING (CDM): Ronald Foley (ZOB) is the NATCA
Art icle 48 Representative for CDM. Mr. Foley provided the information below for the
membership.
· Collaborative Decision Making (CDM ) is a joint government/industry initiative
aimed at improving air traffic flow management through increased information
exchange among NATCA, FAA, representatives from government, general
aviation, airlines, private industry and academia. There are four m ain facets
that underlay the CDM umbrella. FCT (Future Concept Team), FET (Flight
Evaluation Team), SCT (Surface Concept Team), WET (Weather Evaluation
Team). Most of the teams meet once a month from September to May to
develop projects and or ideas for NE XGEN.
