• NATCA is currently working with the Agency to ensure that as we move away
from ground based NAVAIDs we do so in a safe manner. Many of the VORs
slated for removal have dozens of IFPs attached and each and every one must
be looked at to determine whether it needs to be replaced or removed. The locals
are the best source for that information.
