Human Performance office is proposing to assist them. • No movement on the group that Tom Adcock and I are working in that is reviewing a list of 39 poor performing facilities from a training perspective. These facilities have been identified as taking too long to certify or are below the average time to certification for similar facilities. This effort is i n the data collection stage. • We will be making a weeklong visit to HCF the third week of June to do an assessment and provide recommendation to assist the facility with culture change activities and operational teamwork issues they are experiencing. The Health and Wellness activities: • I ran into a snag with the EAP information concerning Magellan conveying information to the Agency. I have to do some more research on this and will need more time before I am ready to unequivocally say what is and is not communicated and under what circumstanc es. • We p articipated in a health fair at FAA headquarters and received a lot of positive feedback on what the program is trying to accomplish. I am working on how best to get to the rank and file with the goals of this part of the office. • No new info on the ARR tower situation . NEXT GEN: Kevin McLaughlin (SCT) is the National ART 48 Rep for Next Gen. • Participated in numerous Leesburg Remote Tower telcons, as one of the alternate NATCA Reps on the program to primary Rep. Kieron Heflin. The program continue s evolving through the Requirements phase. • Participated in multiple telcons on the Colorado Remote Tower Program . T he Program has moved to the Site Survey Stage with monthly travel scheduled to Fort Collins scheduled beginning in July following submission of contract proposal by Thales Inc. • Participated in meeting with representatives from Thales Inc. regarding their contractual proposal for the Colorado Remote Tower site at Fort Collins - Loveland Airport. • Participated in multiple meetings of the NextGen Fac ilities Outreach Workgroup. This workgroup is focusing on laying a collaborative foundation between ARTCC and underlying Terminal facilities 16 - 24 months prior to arrival of NextGen technologies to the workplace. • Participated in tel cons concerning the fu nding status of ATPA Phase 2 . • Participated in National Safety and Technology Leadership Committee (NSTLC) meetings at NATCA . • Met with Paul Fontaine, acting Assistant Deputy Administrator for NextGen, to discuss state of NextGen Facility Outreach effort and to discuss concepts for NextGen Model Facility. • Participated in A dvanced Interval Management tel con as lead up to info share with ALPA regarding NASA collaborative efforts. • Participated in Aero Club of Washington luncheon . • Participated in RTCA Symposi um June 1 - 2 in Washington , D . C . • Participated in weekly NATCA Artic le 48 Safety and Technology tel con . • Traveled 3 of 4 weeks in this briefing cycle . VOR MON: John Vogelsang (P31) is NATCA's ART 48 Rep for VOR Minimum Operational Network.
