WEEKLY MESSAGE FROM ATO COO TERI L. BRISTOL Partnering for Progress Hi everyone. Last week, I spoke at the Aero Club here in Washington , D . C . , to members of the aviation community including those in industry, labor , and government. I made clear how honored I am to lead the FAA's Air Traffic Organization, and how proud I am of the work we do. Every day, we're moving about 50,000 flights and more than 2 million pas sengers. Simply put, we make the spectacular look routine. I discussed how we're delivering near - term NextGen benefits by: Increasing the availability and use of Performance Based Navigation, improving surface operations, making multiple runway operations more efficient, and implementing Data Communications.
