We're doing it by working closely and creatively with our stakeholders. For example, I talked about how we worked with JetBlue to design and use an RNP approach at JFK airport. This approach would have lower minimums that would allow JFK to land on Runway 13L longer before requiring aircraft to use the ILS approach due to low ceilings. This capability became especially important last summer when JFK's Runway 4L/22R was shut down to complete a runway cons truction project. To fly the procedure, JetBlue aircraft needed to have a switch enabling them to do an automatic Take - off Go Around, or TOGA. But only some of JetBlue's fleet was equipped with the switch. Our controllers needed confidence that all JetBlue aircraft were equipped to perform TOGA before they felt they could safely issue the RNP approaches to them. This issue required a team approach. JetBlue made the decision to equip every aircraft with the TOGA switch and trained every pilot to know how to execute it. This gave controllers the confidence and flexibility to consistently assign them the approaches. The TRACON and JetBlue signed an agreement that all flights will be assigned the RNP approach. When all was said and done, JetBlue was able to exec ute nearly 6,000 RNP approaches during the runway shutdown last year, and we greatly improved the use of JFK's runway 13L during adverse weather conditions. Progress like this takes time, but the good results highlight the importance of collaboration to cr oss over cultural barriers that may have p revented solutions in the past. During my remarks, I also noted that this summer the FAA will establish a new Drone Advisory Committee to advise us on UAS integration issues. And this fall, the ATO expects to compl ete our Commercial Space Integration Roadmap that will define changes in airspace usage policy, regulation, procedures and automation capabilities, and determine the schedule by wh ich these changes will be made. Whether it be with NextGen or bringing in ne w airspace users, success is going to require us to work closely and creatively across industry, labor and government. I look forward to seeing the progress we'll make in the months and years ahead. Thanks everyone, Teri L.
