43 automatically terminated upon separation of an employee from the bargaining unit. e Agency shall be responsible for notifying the appropriate servicing payroll processing center when one of these actions occurs. e. e Agency shall not refer former bargaining unit employees to the Union to obtain refunds for erroneously withheld dues. SECTION 3. Union Responsibilities a. e Union shall be responsible for purchasing and distributing SF-1187. e Union shall also be responsible for the proper completion and certification of the forms and transmitting them to the appropriate payroll processing center. b. e Union agrees to inform the Agency of the following: (1) If the amount of regular national dues is changed by the Union, the Union will notify the Director, Office of Labor and Employee Relations, in writing and will certify as to the new amount of regular national dues to be deducted each pay period. New SF-1187 authorization forms will not be required. Changes in the amount of Union dues for payroll deduction purposes shall not be made more frequently than once in a twelve (12) month period. (2) e Union agrees to give prompt, written notification to the appropriate payroll office within one (1) pay period, in the event an employee having dues deducted is suspended or expelled from membership in the Union, so that the employee allotment can be terminated. (3) Immediate written notification will be provided to the Director, Office of Labor and Employee Relations, of any changes to the address or bank routing number for NATCA Headquarters where the electronic transfer for the total amount of dues deducted is sent. SECTION 4. Agency Responsibilities a. e total amount of dues deducted each pay period shall be authorized by the appropriate payroll processing center and electronically transferred to the Union not later than ten (10) working days aer the close of each pay period. e Union shall
