35 Section 6. Advanced Leave A. Annual Leave: Employees may request advanced annual leave in lieu of leave without pay. Employees may be asked to provide such request in writing. Each reque st will be approved or disapproved on a case - by - case basis. No more than the amount of annual leave that would be earned during the leave year may be advanced. B. Sick Leave: Employees may request advanced sick leave in lieu of leave without pay. Employees may be asked to provide the request in writing and to provide administratively acceptable medical documentation. Each request will be approved or disapproved on a case - by - case basis. No more than thirty (30) days (240 hours) of sick leave may be advanced. Section 7. Court Leave/ Jury Duty A. An employee is entitled to paid time off without charge to leave for service as a juror or witness in accordance with 5 USC 6322. B. At the request of an Employee who has been granted Jury Duty/Court leave, his/her regular days off shall normally be changed to coincide with his/her jury service regular days off. The change of an Employee's regular days off shall not entitle the Employee to receive pay in excess of that authorized for his/her rescheduled tour of duty. Sect ion 8. Voting Subject to operational requirements, employees may be granted excused absence to vote in government elections. Section 9. Military Leave Full cooperation will be extended to all Reserve components of the Armed Forces by granting leave of absence for military training purposes to authorized Employees. Each reservist of the Armed Forces of the United States or member of the National Guard who is entitled to leave of absence from his/her duties will be granted such leave without adverse effec t on his/her performance rating, loss of pay, or charge to annual leave. Military leave will be granted to Employees IAW 5 USC 6323. Section 10. Bone Marrow Donor and Organ Donor
