THE 13 th ANNUAL ARCHIE LEAGUE MEDAL OF SAFETY AWARDS The Dec. 31, 2016, deadline for the 13th Annual Archie League Medal of Safety Aw ards is just four months away! Remember – any member can nominate another member. All events since Jan. 1, 2016, are eligible for nomination. Have you seen someone whose individual contribution and performance enhanced the standings of y our profe ssion? Then help the NATCA Professional Standards Team recognize them by submitting them for the second annual NATCA National Professionalism Awards, presented at the 2017 Communicating For Safety conference in Las Vega s ! Application: NATCA Professionalism Award Application The deadline for submissions is Dec. 31, 2016. Each of the winners will be invited to att end CFS to be recognized for their achievement and to receive their award. They will be entitled to travel and expense reimbursement in accordance with the NATCA travel policy similar to that provided to the Archie League Medal of Safety Award winners. The goal of NATCA's Professional Standards program is to maintain and promote professionalism across all of NATCA's bargaining units. We achieve that through a commitment to safety and the public's trust. We work to inspire, motivate and provide personal exam ples of our professionalism to others and to maintain the highest standard of excellence. We know our actions represent all our fellow professionals and we work to bring honor and respect to all that we do. THE NATCA.ORG WEBSITE Logging in to the Members Side: To access the members side of the website, either click here directly and bookmark the URL on your phone or computer, or go to natca.org and select the "MEMBERS SIDE" menu item. On your phone: the menu is accessed on natca.org by touching the red button in the top left corner of the screen with the three white lines inside it. That will bring up a red - bordered box that you can then navigate with your finger. HOW TO LOG IN : Use your NATCA Portal username and password. Your membership number can be used as your username. The NATCA Portal is the interactive side of Unionware, our Union's membership database. Once you log in to the new members section using your NATCA Portal credentials, you can choo se "Remember me" and your browser will save it for ensuing visits.
