After the winners are notified, we will announce the winners to the membership in the Feb. 10 NATCA Insider. The winners will be honored at CFS at our annual awards banquet on March 22. NATCA 30 th A NNIVERSARY (1987 - 2017) : NATCA's First Legislative Victory NATCA's strength was apparent early on as controllers organized and continued to fight for workers' rights. The Federal Employees Liability Reform and Tort Compensation Act of 1988 was one of the union's first legislative victories. Its passage meant that the government would substitute the names of federal employees as the defendant in civil lawsuits. Read more . Use #NATCA30 NATCA PILOT - CONTROLLER COMMUNICATION MATERIALS FEATURED BY EAA NATCA's outreach to the nationwide general aviation pilot community received a great boost and tremendous recognition last week when the Experime ntal Aircraft Association (EAA), in its newsletter sent to all of its members, promoted NATCA's quick reference cards for pilots, which provide in formation about several key safety issues.
