BUILDING A STRONGER BENCH
The next few years promise to be very legislatively active for NATCA and there will be a need for increased activism at the
grassroots level. This exciting class will teach you how to inform and motivate your fellow members to get involved so that
NATCA can be more effective on Capitol Hill.
Why should I attend? Do you want to maintain the level of excitement surrounding legislative efforts following NiW?
This class will focus on developing and maintaining a strong local legislative bench to help motivate yourself and NATCA
members to remain legislatively active throughout the year.
Instructor: Trisha Pesiri-Dybvik is the National Legislative Committee Chair for the Western Pacific Region. Her experience advocating
for NATCA spans nearly a decade, first serving as a Facility Legislative Representative before serving the Union on the National
Legislative Committee. Her work as an activist at both the local and national level gives her unique insight into building and
maintaining strong legislative relationships.
