NATCA has requested to participate in the July 2017 meeting and has also requested copies of the white paper as well as notes from the first three meetings. FAA APPEALS ARBITRATOR'S DECISION IN MILITARY/DOD CONTR OLLERS' PAY CASE On April 19, 2017, NATCA received a favorable decision from Arbitrator Kathy Eisenmenger in a grievance case interpreting the language of Article 108, Section 4.C of the Red Book, whereby incoming military or DoD controllers with "52 conse cutive weeks experience as a certified air traffic controller" are due pay at the lowest Developmental pay level when they join their facilities, rather than Academy Graduate level pay, as an acknowledgement of the experience they bring to the FAA. The Ag ency has appealed the decision by filing Exceptions with the Fed eral Labor Relations Authority. NATCA's legal response to the Agency's appeal, our Opposition brief, is due on June 23, 2017. BRIEFING REQUESTS On May 30, 2017, NATCA requested a briefing on the Relocation of Engineering Services, Flight Standards and Technical Operations in Coraopolis, PA. We are currently waiting for a response from the Agency re garding our request. POCs: Labor Relations Representative Melinda Kim and Labor Relations Coordinator Kendal Manson. On June 6, 2017, NATCA requested a briefing on Microsoft Office - Outlook Pro Plus 2016 u pgrade. We are in the process of scheduling this b riefing.
