His report to the member ship is below. May of 2017 was the busiest mon th in TAMR deployment history. Six facilities transitioned even with a travel restriction im posed on the program in April. The coordination and collaboration t hat took place was miraculous. Scott Robillard (K9 0), Bill Spence (BTV) , and Scott Kendrick (North TX OSF) worked around the clock with their FAA counterparts to en sure TAMR continued deploying. NATCA TAMR, NATCA Multi - Unit, Engineering Services, PASS, and TSLE stepped up their game during the most active month to date. During this reporting period, there were five Initial Op erating Capacity (IOC) events. DLH, ABI, BGR, SUX, and MWH all trans itioned from ARTS 2E to STARS. Minor issues were reported but the Operations Support Facilities (OSF) are fixing t he adaptations to ens ure safety throughout the NAS. Congratulations and welcome to the club. May 22 - 26 : Mr. Rose attended the Terminal Work Package 1 (TWP1) evaluation at the MITRE facility in McLean, V a. Mike Sanders (SCT), Scott Kendrick (North TX OSF), and Andrew Gale (PCT) were also in attendance to evaluate new spacing and messaging tools to be included in STARS software.
