MIT RE hosted another 3T (TFDM, TFM S, TBFM) meeting 5/31 and 6/1. Although TBFM and TFMS folks were unable to attend, I believe this was a productive meeting, as members of the Surface Collaboration T eam (SCT) were able to make it. This was the first demonst ration that was focused on tower operations and how the 3T s might look during normal operations . MITRE demonstrated Integrated Departure/Arrival Capability (IDAC) within TBFM in both automatic and manual modes, allowing the TFDM group to see how this fea ture would be utilized in conjunction with electronic flight strips. The TFDM team, along with two Terminal CHI team members, participated in Leidos ' second Post Release Demonstration (PRD) June 7th and 8th. This demo covered all CHI designs finalized thus far, as well as some additional key board and touch screen options. There are two more PRD s scheduled , along with two more Earl y User Involvement Events (EUIEs). All of these meetings are designed to give our team an early look at how the system looks and o perates based on our involvement in every day meetings. The TFDM and TFMS teams will begin working together in the upcoming months on the Surface Situational Awareness (SSA) tool that TFMS will be building once they have their contract awarded and finali zed. With this equipment, TRACON s and ARTCC s will have advanced awareness of what is happening on the surface at their underlying airports and be more ready to adapt to changing surface conditions. The Critical Design Review (CDR) for build 1 is June 27 - 29 and will cover all of the finalized requirements and desig n efforts of the past eight months. We will begin working
