Ca ribbean surveillance capabilities is the CARSR radar - site on Pico del Este in the El Yunque National Forest. The facility just underwent a t op to bottom restoration project and AJW employees went above and beyond to keep the long - range radar operational during two prolonged electricity outage events. For those of us who don't live on a Caribbean island, images of white sand beaches and crystal clear water may come to mind w hen we think about our colleagues in Puerto Rico and the USVI. But island - life is not all palm trees and coconuts. The work our technicians perform on these islands is not easy, or predictable. Systems fail, engines break down and wires snap at the worst t imes, and in the worst places. We rely on the men and women of Technical Operations to show up when times are tough and stay until the job is done. I am proud to work alongside these dedicated and talented professionals. Thanks everyone! Teri L. Brist ol ATO Chief Operating Officer
