I want to take a moment to recognize the men and women from across the ATO currently facing catastrophic conditions all along the Texas coast and inland. There are thousands of FAA employ ees who have been personally impacted by flooding in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. So many people have also stepped up to provide assistance and support to those in need. Since the start of this event – ATO employees have done everything in their power t o respond, repair, restore and recover critical air traffic navigation systems at Texas airports. Many of our controllers are currently sheltering in place at their facilities and continuing to provide critical air traffic services in the wake of the storm . We know that there are still difficult days ahead. If you are looking for ways to help, please stand by, and do not travel to the impacted areas without official guidance. We will keep you posted in the upcoming days with additional information. I wo uld like to thank everyone for your efforts and ask that we all keep our fellow Texas colleagues in our thoughts and prayers. Thanks everyone! Teri L. Bristol ATO Chief Operating Officer
