NATCA has 110 members in its six Caribbean facilitie s, which were affected by Irma
before it made landfall in Florida last Sunday. FAA facilities San Juan CERAP (ZSU),
San Juan Tower (SJU), and St. Thomas (STT), and Federal Contract Towers at St.
Croix (STX), Aguadilla Tower (BQN), and Isla Grande Tower (SI G). All members are
accounted for, which is good news. STT members were evacuated to San Juan.
We'll continue to have expanded coverage of the effort to help our brothers and sisters
in the next issue of the NATCA Insider on Friday, Sept. 15 .
CISM Assist ance Available : The NATCA Critical Incident and Stress Management
(CISM) Team has been working around the clock. They ' re standing by to offer
assistance to anyone at any facility. The CISM hotline number, available any time of day,
is 202 - 505 - CISM (2476). Their email is cism@natca.net .
We are using our social media feeds to provide updates and news on both storm s –
Harvey and Irma - and how it's affecting our members and facilities. We are also sharing
post s and stories from our members' efforts to help their brothers and sisters and their
communities.
