The FAA and NATCA have introduced a new flyer emphasizing the importance of
voluntary safety reporting programs. The flyer includes the website URLs where

NATCA HOSTS MEDIA TRAINING CLASS AT NATIONAL PRESS CLUB : Last
Thursday, NATCA Director of Public Affairs Thom Metzger, Director of Communications
Doug Church and Senior Social Media Associate Meagan Roper conducted a m edia
training class for 13 members at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C . Paul
Rinaldi and Trish Gilbert welcomed the attendees and introduced them to the course.
That was followed by discussions about effective media relations and how to
communica te clear, concise messages, best social media practices, and also a visit and
talk by veteran aviation reporter Alan Levin of Bloomberg. The participants then
practiced their skills by doing on - camera interviews in the Press Club's television studio.
