Press reports recently indicated that the Trump Administration is considering a wage
freeze for federal employees in 2019 as one component of broader civil service reform.
This potential attack is in addition to other ideas that have been floated by the Trump
Administration and House Republicans including reductions to retirement benefits and
forcing retirees to pay more for their health insurance. GA staff will continue to fiercely
fight such proposals.
