Memorandum related to terminations during the new-hire probationary period. As before, a probationary employee (i.e., an employee who has not completed one (1) year of Federal civil service) who is terminated during the new-hire probationary period does not have appeal or grievance rights. BRIEFING REQUESTS On Jan. 22, 2018, NATCA requested a briefing on FAA Order JO 7110.308C Simultaneous Dependent Approaches to Closely Spaced Parallel Runways (KSN 1650). We are currently waiting for a response from the Agency regarding our request. POCs: Labor Relations Attorney Suzanne DeFelice and Labor Relations Coordinator Kendal Manson. On Jan. 10, 2018, NATCA requested a briefing on the revisions to FAA Order 7210.3AA (N JO 7210.XXX Air Traffic Control System Command Center Space Operations Responsibilities). Recently, we were informed by the Agency that more revisions have been made to this Order. The Agency plans to redact its January 9, 2018 notice regarding this matter and send a new notice with the new revisions. On Jan. 11, 2018, NATCA requested a briefing on FAA Order 1600.69C, Facility Security Management Program & NAS Resiliency Assessment. We are currently waiting for a response from the Agency regarding our request.
