LABOR RELATIONS DEPARTMENT MICROSOFT ACTIVE DIRECTORY PASSWORD MIGRATION MOU On Feb. 9, 2018, NATCA and the Agency signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) concerning the migration of the following systems/programs from Lotus Notes/Domino Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) to Microsoft Active Directory (AD): CEDAR FALCON Safety Suite CDR/Player TARP-A NOP Client BUEs who use any of these systems/programs will need to use their AD passwords to continue accessing these systems/programs. The deadline for BUEs affected by the migration to establish/reset their AD passwords is Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018. BUEs will be granted sufficient duty time, if otherwise in a duty status, to establish/reset their AD passwords. Additionally, for BUEs who do not have access to personal workstations with a computer, the Agency will provide access to a computer with privacy and Internet access in a reasonable and accessible location at the local level for BUEs to establish/reset their AD passwords. NATCA LR PREPARES TO ARBITRATE CASE INVOLVING NOTIFICATION TO NATCA REGARDING ALCOHOL TESTERS' ARRIVAL IN THE BUILDING Recently, NATCA scheduled an arbitration hearing for a grievance involving notification to NATCA of Breath Alcohol Technicians' arrival at the facility, pursuant to Article 73, Section 2 of the CBA. The case will be heard in Minneapolis on May 31, 2018 by Arbitrator James Rimmel. POCs: Great Lakes ARVP Jeff Richards and Assistant Director of Labor Relations Erina Hammond. BRIEFING REQUESTS On Feb. 15, 2018, NATCA requested a briefing on Low Altitude Authorization & Notification Capability (LAANC). We are currently waiting for a response from the Agency regarding our requests. POCs: Assistant Director of Labor Relations Nicole Vitale and Labor Relations Coordinator Kendal Manson. On Feb. 14, 2018, NATCA requested a briefing on the Occupational Medical Surveillance Program-Recordkeeping. This briefing is currently scheduled for February 23, 2018, along with the ATO Hearing Conservation Program briefing.
