HATE POLITICS TOO? LET'S TALK
LOBBYING IS PART OF THE CONSTITUTION.
LOBBYING IS IMPORTANT.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of
religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging
the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the
people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government
for a redress of grievances.
Lobbying is necessary for a productive government.
Without it, Representatives would struggle to
sort out the numerous competing interests of their
constituents. "Lobbyists" help to cover any gaps in
knowledge by presenting research and facts about
their issue, and then try and persuade government
into action. Society benefits from policy decisions
made with the best possible information.
