MIA outreach was completed on June 12. Their transmit map has been submitted to the spectrum office for review. WAKE TURBULENCE John Murdock (PHL) is the Article 114 Representative to the Wake Turbulence Office for NATCA. His update for the week is below. The Consolidated Wake Turbulence (CWT) order received final approval and is a published as FAA JO 7110.126. CWT workforce training completed the last week of June and the Phoenix area was scheduled to go IOC CWT on July 17. San Antonio, along with the associated facilities, conducted CWT training and IOC prior to the end of July. Remaining facilities to implement CWT in CY 2018 are PHX, SAT, PCT, HNL, LAS, and SEA. PHX, P50, LUK, and all underlying facilities are operating under the new CWT order 7110.126. There were a few minor TECH OPS issues on the first day that have been resolved. SAT, Kelly, and Randolph AFBs were slated to be next to IOC CWT on July 31. Training started July 20. SAFETY AND TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT (Report for the week of July 30, 2018) NEXTGEN: Kevin McLaughlin (SCT) is the National NextGen Representative for NATCA. His report to the membership is below. Deputy Assistant Administrator Gregory Burke Tag-up I met with Greg Burke, who recently joined NextGen as the Deputy Assistant Administrator to establish a schedule for recurring meetings and to introduce him to Adam Rhodes, incoming NextGen Representative. Mr. Burke expressed his enthusiasm about collaborating with NATCA and establishing a mutually beneficial relationship going forward. ANG-C Director Paul Fontaine Tag-up I met with Paul Fontaine several times this cycle, primarily to discuss concerns regarding the Leesburg Remote Tower installation. Additionally, future movement of the Remote Tower candidate list was discussed as well as the RTS Vendor solicitation being issued by NextGen in September. At the last meeting of this series, I had the opportunity to introduce the incoming NextGen Rep. Joint Space Operations Group (JSpOG) NATCA continues to participate in the bi-weekly meetings of this ATCSCC based Ops group, and I attended the JSpOG meeting at the ATCSCC on June 13 and 23rd. The JSpOG is the primary FAA operational interface with the Commercial Space Industry for LOA creation and launch/recovery support activities. The JSpOG continues the process
