ENTERPRISE-INFORMATION DISPLAY SYSTEM (E-IDS) Amanda Richardson (ZOA) is the Article 114 Representative for E-IDS work. Her report is below: Background: The E-IDS project aims to replace all existing IDSs in the NAS, providing the Agency with one enterprise solution across all facility types. While some customization is necessary and should be available, one system will reduce overall costs for upkeep and training, and resolve the upcoming end-of-life issues we have with our current IDSs in the field (IDS-4, ERIDS, etc.). Current domains without an IDS will also be addressed (Oceanic, FSS, etc.). The project is working towards finalizing requirements by the end of this year, with a contract scheduled to be awarded in 2020. Due to the government shutdown, upcoming E-IDS milestones are delayed by 35-45 days. Additionally, most immediate support was directed to getting a couple programs back online and many SME requests were delayed to March. The Human Factors and Integrated Test Team work was delayed until March 7 when work every two weeks was then slated to continue. The Safety workgroup will reconvene in Washington, D.C., the first week of April to complete the work that began last year. An SRM Panel will be scheduled after that concludes, sometime later this year. The Human Factors and Test work scheduled for April 4 will occur in person. Upcoming activities: • Weekly/bi-weekly program status and engineering telcons (ongoing) • Human Factors and Test workgroup (ongoing) • Training telcons (ongoing) • Bi-weekly Risk Board telcons (ongoing) • Weekly check-in with Program Manager (ongoing) • Weekly Systems Engineering telcons (ongoing) • SRM workgroup meetings (continued April 2-4, Washington, D.C.) • Quarterly trip to Washington, D.C., to attend meetings in person (to coincide with Safety work in April) FLIGHT DATA INPUT OUTPUT (FDIO) Corey Soignet (LFT) is the FDIO Article 114 Representative. Also included in Soignet's duties is Article 114 representation for the Electronic Flight Strip Transfer System (EFSTS). His report is below: The FDIO team has begun receiving printers form the manufacturer and are being prepped for deployment to the eligible facilities. With the recent shutdown, there is no other new news to report at this time. There is also nothing to update at this time regarding EFSTS or FIDI.
