selectable cursor speeds that deliver the accuracy required to deploy the new processors. Along with new, faster processors tech refresh also delivers the new 43- inch monitors to all ERAM facilities. The FTRs attended the National User Team (NUT) meeting the week of March 4. The team received briefings on the following programs: • DataComm – The DataComm team briefed on the following topics: Keysite status, training preparation and conduct timeline, DFV conduct timeline, waterfall site status, DFV AIMS process, disabling the simple timer/enabling the smart timer, and DataComm content in EAE200 and EAE300. The emphasis was on re-starting CPDLC at the keysites (ZKC and ZID) and the new proposed waterfall. Additionally, Harris briefed on the status of issues found during DFV and the resolutions that have been delivered since the last DFV test in December 2018. • TR2 – The Program Office briefed the team on the revised plan for the TR2 full R-side upgrade. Included was a discussion of the alternate display path capability, keysite plans and a notional waterfall for sites 4-20. The Monitor Deployment task team is working on training/familiarization in support of the new monitors and associated functionality to be briefed to all sites in support of TR2. • AIMS 3.0 – Numerous SLE personnel briefed the new AIMS 3.0 system to the team. The updated system will provide many new features and provide the ability to expand functionality to support unique needs for specific programs. A subgroup of the National User Team will participate in testing prior to the anticipated June delivery date. • ERAM Program Briefing – The ERAM systems engineer gave the team a briefing on the EAE200 re-plan as well as the three-year release plan. The briefing included content already committed to future releases in support of other programs i.e., EAE210 TR2, EAE400 and EAF200 hand-off to Canada, and EAE100 DataComm full services. • ER 172916 SIG 1438 Conflict Probe Likelihood Changes – SLE provided a briefing to the team on the changes to conflict probe that this SIG brings. In its simplest form, it will reduce nuisance alerts by updating the algorithm that calculates the likelihood and notification of a conflict. The following issues are examples of what the National User Team worked: • Altimeter CAR – The Altimeter CAR task team discussed possible responses to the CAR document as well as applicable problem statements. The team decided to update the language on the problem statements for ER 186070 to add old coding functionality. • ER 202437 MIN Function – This ER proposes adding a new radar function that will calculate the closest proximity for any two radar targets—the STARS system has this function today. A task team was formed to explore the functionality and usefulness in an en route environment.
