• ER 200952 EDST Weather – There is currently an issue in the EAE130 software release that does not allow the display of wind and temperature on the GPD in the TTL only; otherwise, the operational system works correctly. This issue will be corrected by a fix in the EAE300 system. • Controller Card – The Controller Card update for EAE200 was discussed. There were several changes made for this system release. The team is also working on adding SISO information to the card. The updates are being reviewed by the task team and will be discussed with National User Team prior to the mandatory completion date. • ER 195554 AHI and APO – The problem statement was updated with the language to add a facility adaptable switch to control the new functionality. INTEGRATED DISPLAY SYSTEM REPLACEMENT (IDS-R) Richie Smith (N90) is the Article 114 Representative for the IDS-R project. His report is below: On April 1, the new version of NIDS software was released nationally for facilities to download and install. The only network presently using the new build is PHL, and no post installation issues have been uncovered. After the dismal failure of upgrading the SCT network to new software during the fall of last year, the NIDS program unsurprisingly met some reluctance to their offer of upgrading SCT before the national release. SCT wants to wait for a successful large network installation before committing to a date. I90 is the only other network comparable in size and complexity to SCT, and they are in no hurry to upgrade a system that is running problem-free. Even with this large network stalemate, the NIDS project staff are proceeding with confidence in regard to the new software upgrades. NIDS hardware, software, and networking were successfully installed at two new towers, EFD and SSF, without any issues. The next major projects involving facility expansion and replacements include P80 and CLE. NAS VOICE SWITCH (NVS) Jon Shedden (ZFW) is the Article 114 Representative to the NVS project. His report is below: The NVS contract with Harris has ended. We are working on solutions to address the FAA's NextGen voice switch needs, reviewing and revising requirements. Alaska Flight Service was scheduled to have its aging voice switch replaced with NVS. Now that the NVS contract has ended, work has begun to find a suitable replacement. Next Generation Air-Ground Communication (NEXCOM) continues deployment of new CM300/350 V2 radios to terminal facilities across the country. The NEXCOM program office has kicked off the Emergency Transceiver Replacement program. Through this program, all aging tunable transceivers at DEN, HNL, PCT, PHX, SCT, and SLC will be
