directive on deployment: How each site will adapt the Electronic Flight Strips (EFS) and how training will be conducted. This is an important piece to the deployment plan. Issues arose with the test string at the WJHTC in Egg Harbor Township, N.J., this week. TFDM testing/scenario building operational test dry-runs were conducted with NATCA SMEs from EWR and DFW. What was found to be an issue was the connectivity between TFMS and TFDM. Proper testing cannot be accomplished moving forward until the issue is resolved. Talks about moving or cancelling the upcoming operational test scheduled to start Aug. 20 are underway. Aaron Rose can be reached by phone at (916) 716-3707 or email TFDM@natca.net. Any issues or concerns from facilities may be conveyed via either method. WAKE TURBULENCE John Murdock (PHL) is the Article 114 Rep to the Wake Turbulence Office. His report is below: Work continues on addressing the NOWGT issue in the NAS. The Agency has received the CAR (CAR 2019-007) and is working to assemble a team. The Wake Turbulence Workgroup met to continue work on categorizing aircraft. The Workgroup has not accomplished much thus far, and will take a significant amount of time to complete the work. An initial meeting was held at M98/MSP for the upgrade from RECAT 2.0 appendix B to CWT. Training will commence in the second half of August, and IOC the first week of September. The updated CWT order is in the final stages of being completed and is expected to be signed prior to M98/MSP's IOC date.
