a contract scheduled to be awarded in 2020. Final Investment Decision (FID) is expected late spring/early summer 2020. Three phases of implementation are being planned, beginning in 2023 and ending in 2030. The E-IDS Weather Working Group will continue to meet regularly to work all weather topics and issues as they relate to E-IDS. NATCA's Art 114 Weather Rep Eric Avila has been introduced to the E-IDS weather team and is now an active participant in the working group. The Implementation Team's data call to the field, and subsequent work with NATCA, resulted in a 100% return from the WSA and a large response from the CSA and the ESA, with additional responses still coming in. This information will be used to ensure that facilities receive the appropriate number of E-IDS workstations. The follow-up meeting with the STARS SE2 Team resulted in some questions for NATCA to work through with AJV and AJT. We hope to continue the efforts with the SE2 team in the fall. The Safety Workgroup met in Washington Sept. 9-13. Preliminary hazards were outlined, Tech Ops, and maintenance issues were discussed, and everyone was prepped for the upcoming Safety Panel which will be held in Washington, Nov. 5-7. Human Factors Workgroup and Integrated Test Team meetings ended with our Sept. 19 meeting. Beginning with the meeting scheduled Oct. 10, the SMEs will have additional time to meet (two hours), and the scope of work has been broadened to include Use Cases and internal NATCA discussions and will allow for any future needs. Additional work incorporating Traffic Management and Data Administration is still planned for Fall 2019 into 2020. Upcoming activities: • Weekly/bi-weekly Program Status and Systems Engineering telcons (ongoing). • Human Factors Workgroup (ongoing). • Integrated Test Team Workgroup (ongoing). • Bi-weekly Risk Board telcons (ongoing). • Weekly check-in with Program Manager (ongoing). • Meetings with other programs to discuss potential overlaps and impacts, occurring as needed. FLIGHT DATA INPUT OUTPUT (FDIO) Corey Soignet (IAH) is the FDIO Article 114 Rep. Also included in Mr. Soignet's duties is Article 114 representation for the Electronic Flight Strip Transfer System (EFSTS). His report is below: FDIO - The FDIO Printers from BOCA have shipped to the FDIO facilities and are already in use. The feedback I have been receiving continues to be mostly positive.
