A meeting was held Sept. 19 to review a document change proposal of the 7210.3 with regard to color use on terminal displays. Stakeholders from AJT-3, AJV-8, AJV-7, NATCA, HF and the Terminal CHI Team reviewed a version of the updated draft to allow for added colors. The group is nearing completion of document changes that accurately reflects current color use additionally providing a process for future color enhancements. Lastly, a "playdate" or early user evaluation was held at Raytheon HQ in Marlborough, Mass., Sept. 23-26. Several NATCA SMEs attended the event to provide feedback to content in the R10 software build as well as AT Prepare and upcoming changes to AT Coach. These events head off discrepancy reports during testing events and provide a forum for the end user (NATCA controllers and training specialists) and software developers to exchange feedback and ideas. Richard Thomas, NATCA TAMR Deployment Lead - I traveled to Washington for the Article 114 Workgroup meeting on Aug. 27 and TAMR Pre-CCB meeting on Aug. 29. I traveled to the Tech Center with Hugh Wyckoff (TLH) for the CTD User Evaluation, Sept. 16-18. On Sept. 21, I went to Cleveland with Ross Costa (RSW) and Curt Fischer (A90) for the S804 consolidation of CAK and MFD into CLE. NATCA SMEs Scott Carnes and Jeff Bishop went to MFD to assist the controllers with their new equipment, and Patrick Carter and Jon Bealles did the same for the CAK controllers. The STARS Discrepancy Review Board (DRB) reviewed Discrepancy Reports S6.00R8 D08 #208, #209, S6.00R9 D03 #135, #136, S6.00R10 D01 #2 to see if they were valid and then given a priority. The Program Trouble Reports Working Group (PTRWRG) met Sept. 12. Stakeholders reviewed six items that are "Watch List" expired, and reviewed and ranked 15 PTRs. They also reviewed stakeholder requests of unranked PTRs which included 10 ATCoach PTRs. We began discussions for the 2020 schedule with possible dates suggested. The next meeting happened Oct. 10.
