However, he concluded that the penalty of five days was excessive and decided that a one-day suspension best comported with the Douglas factors. Accordingly, Arbitrator Finkin awarded back pay, including four days of lost wages and benefits, and ordered the Agency to expunge all records of the five-day suspension. BRIEFING REQUESTS On Sept. 23, NATCA requested a briefing on the Centralized Maintenance Initiative. We are currently waiting for a response from the Agency to our request. On Sept. 17, NATCA requested a briefing on the Alignment of AJR-B3 to AJV-A3. We are in the process of scheduling this briefing. On Sept. 12, NATCA requested a briefing on the FAA APM-001 Organizational Changes. We are in the process of scheduling this briefing. On Sept. 12, NATCA requested a briefing on FAA Order JO 1370.118, ATO Wireless Policy. We are in the process of scheduling this briefing. On Sept. 4, NATCA requested a briefing on the Acceptable Level of Risk (ALR) for Commercial Launches and Reentries. This briefing was scheduled for Sept. 27. POCs: Labor Relations Staff Representative Melinda Kim, Acting Director of Labor Relations Nicole Vitale, Director of Safety and Technology Jim Ullmann, Deputy Director of Safety and Technology Mark McKelligan, and En Route Technology Coordinator Mark Prestrude. On Aug. 29, NATCA requested a briefing on the Mission Support Services Unit (AJV) Realignment/Reorganization. This briefing was held on Sept. 24. We are discussing internally the next steps to take regarding this matter.
