HUMAN PERFORMANCE Aaron Katz (P50) is the Article 114 Rep for Human Performance. His report is below: NAS Training Study - The study is pressing on and is on pace to have a report to brief to leadership by November. I conducted the ZOA and SDL visits in October. Safety Culture - The survey data was processed, and we conducted all the on-site interviews and workshops during the last week of September. Those notes are being rolled up and dissected to compile a report for the facilities. The report will include recommendations for moving the facilities forward from a safety culture standpoint. CHI Team Training - The CHI team asked us if we could provide them some basic HF training. That class was coordinated for the week of Oct. 28 and took place at NATCA. Our hope is that this training can be further developed and offered on a continuing basis for anyone interested. Training Effectiveness Survey - Dates for ZSE and S56 have been confirmed for November. C90 has been confirmed for the week of Feb. 10, 2020. We are still waiting for firm dates for the other three facilities. Behavioral Markers - A90 interviews were completed the week of Oct. 7. All facility visits have been completed and NASA will now finish the process of transcribing the interviews. I will work with them to ensure the recordings are deleted. Once the data is processed, the hope is that we can develop training to bring to the field. Visual Scanning - All sites visits are now complete, and CAMI will begin to process the research. The next step should be taking their findings and see if we can develop some effective training from the results. HP Taxonomy - The workgroup met last on Aug. 20. The project is making very good progress. The next meeting was set for Nov. 5. The taxonomy is on pace to be completed by the end of the calendar year. New HP Areas - Most of the projects I inherited when I took this role have had the field work completed. As we begin to move forward and I have the ability to shape the direction of this role, I plan to illicit the help of the NEB to provide areas they would like to see focus placed on from an HP standpoint. I have been invited to brief the board at their next meeting in November. OSHA Karena Marinas (ZLA) is the Chair of NATCA's OSHA Committee. Her report is below:
