NATCA NATIONAL OFFICE DEPARTMENTAL UPDATE October 28-November 17, 2019 LABOR RELATIONS DEPARTMENT BRIEFING REQUESTS On Nov. 18, NATCA requested a briefing on the New Employee Identification Verification Procedures Related to Benefits Operations Center (BOC) System Interface with CASTLE/IR and View of Federal Personnel and Payroll System (FPPS) Data. We are currently waiting for a response from the Agency to our request. POCs: Labor Relations Attorney Suzanne DeFelice, Labor Relations Coordinator Kendal Manson, Acting Director of Labor Relations Nicole Vitale, Special Counsel to the President Eugene Freedman, and Chief of Staff Dean Iacopelli. On Nov. 8, NATCA requested a briefing on FAA Order JO 3750.7B, Ethical Conduct and Financial Disclosure. We are currently in the process of scheduling this briefing. POCs: Assistant Director of Labor Relations Erina Hammond, Labor Relations Coordinator Kendal Manson, Acting Director of Labor Relations Nicole Vitale, Special Counsel to the President Eugene Freedman, and Chief of Staff Dean Iacopelli. On Nov. 5, NATCA requested a briefing on FAA Order JO 3000.22, Revision B – Air Traffic Organization Technical Training Management. We are currently in the process of scheduling this briefing. POCs: Labor Relations Staff Representative Melinda Kim, Labor Relations Coordinator Kendal Manson, Director of Safety and Technology Tom Adcock, Former Director of Safety and Technology Jim Ullmann, and Deputy Director of Safety and Technology Mark McKelligan. On Nov. 5, NATCA requested a briefing on FAA Order HR 1100.169B, Office of Human Resource Management (AHR). We are currently waiting for a response from the Agency to our request. On Nov. 1, NATCA requested a briefing on the Proposed Changes to the Shuttle Service at MMAS, Oklahoma City. We are currently in the process of scheduling this briefing. POCs: Labor Relations Staff Representative Melinda Kim, Labor Relations Coordinator Kendal Manson, Region X Vice President (RVP) Curt Howe, and Region X Alternate RVP Mike MacDonald. On Oct. 31, NATCA requested a briefing on FAA Order JO 3900.63A, Fall Protection Program. This briefing has been scheduled for Nov. 22.
